The kids an I had a wonderful time Celebrating Halloween, "All Saints Day" & today "All Souls Day"! It was a time for conversation about the Martyrs , Saints & People we love that have gone to a prettier place. Folklores, Religion & the special things that people around the world do to show their love. The kids asked if we should leave something out for Grandpa.... And immediately it was "two beers". ...So when we were all finished Aubrie placed the beers on the light table and said "Oh my gosh", "This is so Beautiful". "Ok, so now is Grandpa gonna come"?
Dolores is going to decorate Tinos grave with the sugar skulls we made for her. The kids were proud of the way they turned out and can't wait to deliver them to her. I am so proud of them, Honoring her beliefs and religion (Catholic).
We should all respect others religions & beliefs... For they all have something to offer and the history is amazing! The love, honor, respect & hard work that goes into decorating these alters {burial sites} is aw~inspiring & Beautiful!"God Bless You All" & have a wonderful day!
