Laundry

Sometimes in my elegant life
when I feel above the mundane wife
I'm quickly brought down to one knee
when I see the pile of dirty laundry.
The hamper feasts on all the clothes
left for it to decompose,
until I hear the other's plea
to wash the dirty laundry.
If there is one thing I have learned to say,
laundry never goes away.
I'll never really ever be free
as long as there is dirty laundry.

Laundry will never stop just because your wash machine broke....again!

Torilla Instruction

Shadd and Allan really wanted to learn how to make home-made tortillas....so who else would they call but Dolores. She's tought us how to make alot of Authentic Mexican food. One of our favorites was one Christmas when she taught me and Reana how to make Tamales....Thank you Dolores,we love you!

Oh....Aiden??

Why oh why...do children seem to do bad things when other children are around? Aiden knowing that the boys were going camping/fishing with there dad this summer "BOY'S ONLY"...managed to ruin it for everyone else, boy's camping trip is off until every single light is solely paid for and replaced by Aiden himself....hhhmmmhhhh this is gonna take awhile........

Happy estivation little froggies.....

Froggies your pond is drying up...we made our last of many visits to you. We have enjoyed learning, playing and just watching you little guys...be safe until next spring!
During extensive periods of heat or drought, frogs can enter a period of dormancy similar to hibernation called estivation.

YO HO~YO HO "A PIRATE'S LIFE FOR ME"!

Congratulations to our little "Pirate Graduates" Aiden {kindergarten} and Cody {Pre-School}!!

My Children: I had the most amazing time planning this party with you guys....we hit every yard sale and the cutest thrift stores you could imagine. I don't think you guys grasped what all the junk was for until the week we started decorating.
Angela: Thank you for the first bag of many jewels to follow...what a wonderful time we had, much appreciated.Hope to see you throughout the summer.
JOY: Your thoughtfulness and time is always a pleasure...Thank you for all that you do.
Dolores: Thank you for preparing all of the chicken and eggs I would have been in a greasy kitchen all day and my children would have been naked pirates.
Shadd: Thank you....yet,again for all of your support, with my head in a cloud of my own when it comes to planning. My creative side gets the best of me sometimes. Most of all...Thank you for dressing up with your children!
Allan: Thank you for puting all of the pirate music together,it was beautiful and added the perfect touch!
B&C's Mom: For making the amazing flan and delicious Horchata....older pirate guy's devoured it with their rum!
Friends, Neighbors & Family: Thank you to all whom attended in the celebration of all the little graduates on our block.....We had a "blast" throwing this Pirate dinner and Treasure hunt for all the little Pirates.....until next time Maties....

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
We pillage, we plunder, we rifle, and loot,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.
We kidnap and ravage and don't give a hoot,
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
We extort, we pilfer, we filch, and sack,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.
Maraud and embezzle, and even high-jack,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
We kindle and char, inflame and ignite,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.
We burn up the city, we're really a fright,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.

We're rascals, scoundrels, villans, and knaves,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.
We're devils and black sheep, really bad eggs,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
We're beggars and blighters, ne'er-do-well cads,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.
Aye, but we're loved by our mommies and dads,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.
