"Our Birthday"

This was such a wonderful birthday for the two of us. I don't think we've ever been out together just both of us alone on our birthday. Definatley a FIRST.We had an amazing evening from beginning~end Dancing,drinks,laughing,PRIVATE BOOTH,chocolate covered strawberries,personal cake,more drinks.....You don't realize how much you love the other one until you're actually alone without KIDS....we couldn't keep our eyes and hands off of eachother the whole night "CRAZY"~in~"LOVE"!! Did just a little bit of gambling before we left the casino,we couldn't bare to walk straight out,did NOT want the night to end....and when we got home at 4:00 am the kids were awakened by Aubrie and all were smiling from there beds.....XoXo's {goodnight}

"Sissy's Home"

Sierra flew in yesterday to spend Christmas break here in sunny California,for her that is coming from South Dakota yeah!! Aiden has been chomping at the bit for her to get here and won't let her out of his site....I knew this was going to happen and that he wouldn't want to go to his last day of school(before break)and leave her.Sooooo I spoke with his teacher and we decided that Sierra would spend the day helping in his class,having lunch,preparing for the cookie party and handing out all the goodie bags they made last night. I hope they have a wonderful day together and that this is a memory they will hold dear to there hearts....I know I will. It's wonderful to see them together,even though Sierra is growing up,she's still little to me,I guess she always will be.....

Santa's Letter

The kids were very eager to meet with Santa to give him the letter's they had written the night before,with Allan,Tanner,Daddy and Mommy.Cody was yelling from the line "Santa...I miss you" and Santa would wave! This repeated several times.
Letter's were read,conversation was done,high fives were given(Aubrie,and a good-bye was underway when Cody decided that he needed to RUN back to Santa to share a peice of his candy. "Santa shared with me,so I wanted to share with him" That was very nice and thoughtful of you Cody.....

Decorating our Tree

This has been a really fun year for me as far as all of the little ones (Aubrie,Aiden and Cody) acknowledging what the holidays are all about and participating with HUGE smiles! I love this age where they're so eager to help to see what the finished product will be and try to stay up with me (sleepy heavy eyes) to see what it is that we're going to do next....Happy Holidays my sweet little ones!

Note: Aiden's wound on eyebrow and lower lip....Dog attacked him trying to get the last bite of his icecream cone.Never ends with boy's I tell you.....

Our "Tree"

As with every year since all of our children have been old enough to run....the Christmas Tree Farm has been a place of wonderful playful laughter,they think it's the funnest thing to play Hide~n~seek underneath and behind all of the Christmas tree's.This year as Shadd and I were trying to find the perfect tree (he holds it,turns it around and then climbs in piles to find what we think will be fun and fitting that year) we looked down and realized this little one wasn't able to keep up with the rest in the game of hide~n~seek....This her her first year to try to take all of the holidays in,as she watched us wondering why we were out in the cold holding trees.......love you Sweet Pea

"My poor little Bear"

Cody fast asleep after his surgery,yet again. Tubes placed again as well as his Adnoids removed.Waiting patienly for him to get the much needed rest his body deserved. Shadd or myself would crawl in the bed and sleep with him for a total of a few hours.Stayed almost the whole day to make sure he could eat properly (hold it down without throwing up,which he did)go to the bathroom,eat jello etc...when the nurse asked Cody if he was ready to go, only then did she have me sign the release form and we went home,for a wonderful "LONG" 7 day recovery in the house with ALL the kids (rainy day schedule).....Happy to say my little bear is recovering very well.Lot's of energy as usual

Note to self:

......"DON'T" take Cody Christmas shopping with you.You think he's not paying attention to any thing you're doing, while he is quitely entertaining himself with a motorcycle on the floor of the store.Until you get out of the store that is and out to the car,then he begins to ask you for each and every item you purchased for him. Whatever with child number 6 I'll choose my battles give him his jacket,scarf,gloves and beanie which was much needed this season anyway! Then I will proceed to shop another time,without Cody...........
